Hyper-realistic hand amputation and distorted facial disguise prosthetics. During the film, one of the character’s hands is chopped off. We sold this effect well with a rod puppeteered fake arm with pumping blood. The prosthetic disguise makeups possessed oversized facial features lending a unnatural and unsettling aesthetic to these makeups when worn by the actors.
